Symposium of ˇ°China Banking Risk Managementˇ±                  

                             ----co-hosted by HKUST and 21st Century Business Herald (one of the Main-stream Financial Media in China)

     The other day in Beijing News Plaza Hotel, Eliax Century Enterprise Consulting Service Corporation undertook the symposium of Symposium of ˇ°China Banking Risk Managementˇ± which was co-hosted by 21st Century Business Herald, one of the Main-stream Financial Media in China and School of Business and Management, HKUST, top business school in Asia.

    The participants were Chai Qingshan, deputy director of Anti-Money-Laundering Center of PBC and deputy director of Auditing Department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange; Kalok Chan, head of Finance Department, Business School, HKUST; Yan Zhihong, who used to be senior associate general manager and vice chief for risk management of Cathay Financial Holdings and now visiting professor of Finance Department, Business School, HKUST; and Teng Tai, head of Institute for Economics, China Galaxy Securities Company Limited. They had a discussion about the issues concerning how the Chinese banks to cope with the intelligence resources, operation philosophy and management regulations under the condition that risks within China financial system are aggregating to banks. The symposium was co-presided by May Hung, director of the Communication & External Affairs, School of Business and Management, HKUST and Li Zhenhua, supervisor of the News Center (Beijing) of 21st Century Business Herald.
